Store Policies
Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipments location and the particular time of year. Customers should expect a 7-10 day delivery time.
Shipping Methods. We ship daily via FedEx Ground, UPS & DHL Ground services to the lower 48 states. We do not offer COD. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers. DHL Ground transit times are longer. We ship certain items by DHL only to prevent damage to sensitive items. We choose which items ship FedEx, UPS or DHL.
Scooter Laws. Scooter laws vary. Please check with your state for the laws in your area. A refund or exchange will not be accepted.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a manufactures defect, email our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. The out come will depend on the manufactures policies.
Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You must email the refund request to support@thescootershowroom.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), thescootershowroom.com will keep 6% of the order for administration fees. Once the order is processed it can no longer be refunded. That only leaves a few hours after you have made the purchase to ask for refunds. Orders are processed every business days.
We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.

Potential customers, you should check with your local law enforcement agency before purchasing about age requirements for riding electric scooters, gas scooters & pocket bikes. Some states may have laws restricting the use of these items on public streets, generally all states allow them on private property such as campgrounds, parks etc....but many states have age requirements and most states require helmets and protective equipment to be worn by certain age children. Pocket bikes with racing slicks should not be used on wet or slippery roads. Please always scoot safely. Know your laws before you go scooting. We will not take back a scooter if you find your laws do not permit your child to ride it. Check first.
